The Wright City FFA Alumni formed in 1992 with the purpose of raising funds to award scholarships to FFA students and to assist the WCHS FFA Chapter in extra curricular activities such as trips and anything else as needed. Alumni also donated to the Warren County Fair Exhibitor Dinners and Buyers Dinner.

In 1993, as their first fundraiser, they started selling Homemade Root Beer at Duetsch Country Days. The group did this for 20 years from 1993 - 2012. Over the years, they had several typed of bottles, some fancy, others cobalt blue and the standard brown.

In 2012, FFA Alumni group began to host Fish Frys during Lent to continue their fundraising efforts for scholarships.
